Once again we have been
so busy filling your orders that we haven't had time to
publish updates to what is happening here at The Plate Lady.
As we come closer to the Holiday Season, we seem to be in
good shape to handle the rush this year. Shipping is in
good shape. We are getting orders pulled, inspected, and
packaged quickly, but please be aware that as we get closer
and closer to a holiday things get much busier. So don't
wait until the last minute to order and you won't be disappointed
by shipping delays beyond our control. Our advertising staff
has been hard at work making sure that customers can find
us on Google Shopping when our items are searched for and
we will be expanding our selection as the season gets closer.
It is important to remind our cherished customers that letting
us know when you are in a hurry for delivery is more important
than ever. Ideally this should be done at the time of ordering
by putting a note in the "Messages" field on the
first page of our online order form and clicking the "add
message" button. But if you forget, please let us know
as soon as possible.
We are well equipped to mark orders as rush when we receive
them, but once they are transferred to the warehouse the
orders are dispersed for pulling, packaging, labeling, and
shipping so finding them is not an easy task. This makes
ensuring they get attention quickly much more of a challenge
and could result in a delay.
Also, we need to let you know that we have migrated to a
new payment system that is even more secure than our previous
method of payment processing.
The new system makes it so that we never receive customer
credit card information directly. Payments are transferred
to First Data (Our Credit Card Processing Service) as soon
as you put your information into our ultra secure shopping
cart and they are the only ones who ever have access to
your card number.
We only have the ability to process refunds of funds already
submitted. This protects us as well as our customers, as
data breaches on our end are now completely impossible.
However, this makes it so we cannot help our repeat customers
with expedient reordering. Credit Card numbers have to be
resubmitted for each new order now, since we do not have
access to them.
As always, we are constantly making updates to keep up with
the latest technological changes in online shopping, so
that our customers can have a safe, secure and enjoyable
shopping experience on our website.

Post Script: Many of our ornament display, glass case, plate
frame, plate holder & dinnerware display items will
be discontinued when stock runs out. If you need anything
from that category, we suggest that you not delay ordering
because we will not be getting restock on those items.
